About Claudia
Claudia is an award-winning creative director working on film and video projects in Myanmar since 2014. Projects range from short film documentary, promo films and PSAs focused on all areas of development in both multi-ethnic rural communities and urban settings.
Claudia’s creative career began in the private sector working over fifteen years in luxury goods marketing, most notably with Tiffany & Company out of New York and Shanghai. Claudia then switched to creative consulting in the development sector to focus solely on video and filmmaking in Myanmar. She has since shot over twenty projects for organizations such as Fauna and Flora International, KfW and Thant Myanmar.
Claudia’s aesthetic is both provocative and sensitive and well suited to capture the nuances of the Myanmar character. Long concerned about the inequities facing the people of Myanmar, Claudia shoots to celebrate their stoicism — so they too can experience dignity, stability and beauty.
