For the Love of Puppies, Yangon ရန်ကုန်
There are an estimated 180,000 stray dogs living on the streets of Yangon. This campaign introduces some of Yangon Animal Shelter’s bravest and most endearing four-legged residents, all looking for new homes. Videos were for use on social media platforms, fundraising events and to support grant applications.

Worldwide, TNT (trap-neuter-return) is the most humane and sustainable strategy for stray population control. Yangon’s municipal authority still mostly uses lethal poisoning though. Advocates from Yangon Animal Shelter say it is not safe for the dogs to live on the streets until TNR is implemented citywide.
