When Tiffany launched ecommerce for the Japan market, the prevalent online shopping habit was limited to commodities like books and Hello Kitty. My team created an elegant pixie of a bot to tell the story of shopping online at Tiffany. Drawn by master artist and fashion illustrator, Ruben Toledo, Ruby (as she was known internally) artfully assured new and existing customers that they could expect the same level of beauty and service as the in-store service for which Tiffany is famous — around the clock.
